Anyone know/remember John Bond?

Bloke at work was pissed up last night and said he was his dad, seems random enough to be true as it it's not the sort of thing you would make up:
Only problem is he has a touch of the tar brush about him (think Ryan Giggs) and his surname isn't Bond.
According to wiki he only had a daughter - Toni.
Share any light on this?

He was a very solid full back in the 1950's/60's. Kevin Bond is his son & I met him on the way to a very early game at the LS last season. He was there to scout Ener Valencia for Birmingham City, who was only a sub, before he went on loan to Everton. He came across as a nice guy.

me dad used to watch Bond when he played for us, said he was a good player and a great character. said that once when he went to take a throw on, a twat opposition player stood in front of him trying to put him off, so he justt launched the ball in to the cunt's face and he didn't do it again :.)

According to my late grandfather (obviously he told me this before he became "late") Bond had a habit of putting his hand down his shorts and then flicking his ball sweat at any player that had fucked him off.
